Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Program

To empower Veterans by providing well researched treatments for PTSD that promote awareness, wellness, and recovery from the harmful impact of trauma.

Description of Services

The PTSD Program offers specialized services for Veterans suffering from PTSD. The program has residential (15 beds) as well as outpatient and Day Treatment programs. The PTSD Program provides a range of services including multiple phases of treatment designed to meet the Veterans current PTSD treatment needs. Evidence based treatments include support, education, trauma processing, skills building, and aftercare. This program is offered at the Dayton VA Medical Center and in each of the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). For additional information on PTSD Programs within the VA, you may visit
