COLONOSCOPY INSTRUCTIONS (FOR ONE DAY PREP)

1. Avoid nuts, corn or fruits and vegetable peels for one week before procedure.
2. Do not eat solids (including breakfast) the day before procedure.
3. Drink only clear liquids (avoid red liquids) on the day before colonoscopy.
4. Take Dulcolax 5mg, four tablets at 12:00 PM the day before procedure.
5. Mix the Moviprep OR Miralax as instructed (see below)
6. Start FIRST HALF of prep at 6pm the day before procedure. Drink 8 ounces (1 glass) every 15 minutes and followed by 16 ounces of any clear liquid after this prep.
7. Start SECOND HALF of prep 6 hours before your procedure. Drink 8 ounces (1 glass) every 15 minutes and followed by 16 ounces of any clear liquid after this prep.
8. Do not take anything including liquids for at least 2 hours before arriving for your procedure.
9. Make sure to bring a designated driver on the day of the procedure.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MIXING MOVIPREP: Each half of the prep is made by emptying one pouch A and one pouch B into 1-liter water

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MIXING MIRALAX: Each half of the prep is made by emptying ½ of Miralax bottle into 1-liter of Gatorade (avoid red color Gatorade)
