VETERANS TO BE HONORED AT DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE!

What: Please join Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, Inc., and the Dayton VA Medical Center in recognizing all Veterans during a special Martin Luther King Jr. service! We will be celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while recognizing active duty and local Veterans. This is the 2nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Service for AKA, Sorority, Inc.
During the service Veterans from all branches of the military will be recognized. Veterans that RSVP and attend the service will be formally recognized with a certificate of appreciation. The Dayton VA Medical Center’s own Chaplain Wendell Rome will be the keynote speaker for the service. Posting of the colors will be conduct by Meadowdale High School’s Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the service.
When: Sunday, January 20, 2013, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Dayton VA Medical Center invite Veterans and their friends and families to attend the 2013 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Service.
Where: Dayton VA Medical Center Campus 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 4548 inside the Protestant Chapel, Building 118.
