The Dayton VAMC’s Disabled Employment Program, a Special Emphasis Program is a committee under the Equal Employment Opportunity Office and under the leadership of Marc Rohner. The Dayton VAMC is proud to provide Traveling with Disabilities by working with Transportation Security Adminstration (TSA) to meet the needs of our employees, Veterans, and their family members. The information will cover resources available through TSA prior to and during an individual’s travel experience. TSA Cares is a new program that was developed by TSA to assist our growing population of persons with disabilities. Individuals can look up specific medical conditions on TSA Cares’ website and receive information regarding TSA security requirements for particular medical conditions.
