The Dayton VAMC Homelessness Standdown

What: The Dayton VAMC believes it is important to provide a full range of services to those who fought for our freedom. This includes more than just providing great health care. It means providing support for our Veterans in need. The Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) will be hosting a Standdown to fight Veteran homelessness. At the Standdown, the Dayton VAMC and several other organizations from the Dayton community will provide homeless Veterans with food, clothing, health screenings, housing, employment opportunities, Social Security benefits counseling and much more.

Who: The Dayton VAMC has teamed up with several organizations in the Dayton community including: Women Veterans of America, Job & Family Services, Goodwill, Wright State University, United Way of Greater Dayton, and many more.

When: Friday, August 23, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Where: The Dayton VAMC, 4100 W. Third St. Dayton, OH, 45428. The event will be held in Building 305.
