The Dayton VA Medical Center will host a press a conference at the Lima Civic Center to share with the community the leasing requirements and pre-solicitation process for a new lease for our Lima Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). We believe this lease opportunity is a great economic prospect for the Lima Community and would be a great asset to the Veterans we serve. At the new state-of-the-art healthcare clinic, Veterans can expect to receive personalized, proactive, patient-driven healthcare. VA is focused on transforming VA primary care services through our Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACTs) by better aligning our specialty care services to support PACTs and improvingaccess by adopting various eHealth technologies; and expanding PACTs. Some benefits of the replacement Lima CBOC include:
- Easy and quick access from major local roads and highways such as US 30, State Route 501, Hume Road, and Thayer Road
- Improved parking by adding more than 100 spaces in parking the parking area.
- Increasing the existing capacity to yield a minimum of 7,507 sq. feet and a maximum of 8,341 sq. feet.
- Dedicated exam rooms for Tele-Health* and other specialty services.
