State of the Art Simulation Trailer Open House and Ribbon Cutting

What: The Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) will host a Ribbon Cutting and Open House event to showcase the new VISN 10 (Veterans Integrated Service Network) Mobile Simulation Trailer. The trailer will be used all around the state of Ohio to provide medical training to Veterans Affairs medical staff, healthcare trainees and students enrolled in medical education programs. Dr. James B. McGee, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine's Associate Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean for Medical Education Technology, and Dr. Manny Dominguez, Veteran Health Administration Deputy Chief Learning Officer, will speak on the benefits of simulation-based education to the VA and to the entire medical community.

Who: The Dayton VAMC's Medical Education program is very excited to present the new state of the art VISN 10 Mobile Simulation Trailer.

When: Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 1:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided after the Ribbon Cutting.

Where: The Dayton VAMC, 4100 W. Third St. Dayton, OH, 45428. The event will be held in the lot across from Building 315.
