The Dayton VA Medical Center Holds Groundbreaking for Independent Senior Housing Facility
What: Dayton, OH - The Dayton VA Medical Center hosts Congressman Michael Turner, Mayor Nan Whaley, and other dignitaries in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Veteran-preference independent senior housing facility.

Additional Information:
The independent living facility, Lyons Place II, will be constructed on the Dayton VA Medical Center's campus by St. Mary's Development Corporation. Lyons Place II will be a housing development for seniors over the age of 62. Units will be available for individuals below 60% of the local median income, with Veterans receiving preferred placement.
Residents will enjoy gracious, independent living with top notch amenities including modern common areas, a beauty/barber shop, and an outdoor courtyard and picnic area.
