The Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) to Host Historic Grotto Ribbon Cutting

What: The Dayton VAMC, along with assistance from the Master Gardeners from Ohio State University's (OSU) extension campus, have been in the process of restoring the historic Grotto on the Dayton VAMC’s campus. The Dayton VAMC would like to invite everyone to come enjoy the beautiful historic Grotto ceremony.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will begin with speakers from the American Veterans Heritage Center, and other organizations around the area. Entertainment will include a harpist, Ms. Bobbie Strobhar. Light refreshments will be provided following the Ribbon Cutting. Individuals in attendance are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors and tour the historic Grotto.

Who: The Dayton VAMC, The Ohio State University Master Gardeners, American Veterans Heritage Center (AVHC), and several other important groups from around the Dayton area.

When: Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM

Where: Dayton VA Medical Center Campus, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428. The Ribbon Cutting will be held at the Grotto, located next to Building 320.
