Mr. Boyd is a suitable selection as the Dayton VAMC's Chief of Safety Service because he is a fellow Veteran. He has 20 years of active duty experience in the U.S. Army. During his time in the Army, he gained valuable knowledge in safety management and occupational health programs. His final position in the Army was as the Brigade Aviation Safety Officer.

Bryan Boyd also has a suitable educational background for his new role. Mr. Boyd attended Rouro University International Cypress, located in California. In August of 2007, Bryan Boyd obtained his Master's Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, with Summa Cum Laude Honors.

Bryan Boyd is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Veterans; he shared his excitement by saying, "I feel very fortunate to be afforded the opportunity to support the care of our Veterans. As a retiree of the Army, I feel a sense of family with our Veterans."

The Dayton VAMC is honored to welcome Bryan Boyd to our staff. The Dayton VAMC strives to hire the most qualified staff so they can achieve their mission by providing the highest quality of healthcare to Veterans.
