Dayton VA Medical Center to host Annual Women Veterans’ Stand Down

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton VA Medical Center will host its annual stand down for women Veterans. The event will take place on August 17, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Dayton VA Medical Center, Building 305 Multipurpose Room.

The event is open to all female Veterans and their families. Please bring your DD214 or VA ID as proof of Veteran status.

Services offered will include health & wellness, employment & training information, housing resources, legal services & resources, and counseling & substance abuse referrals.

Veterans interested in more information should contact 937-268-6511, ext. 1548.

The event is open to the media, but please request a Veteran’s permission before publicizing her face or name. Some of the female Veterans in attendance may need to remain anonymous.
