September 15, 2016
What: DAYTON VA MEDICAL CENTER DIRECTOR NAMED “LEADER OF THE YEAR”
Dayton VA Medical Center Director Glenn Costie was named “Leader of the Year” today, September 13th, by a Dayton Chamber of Commerce program dedicated to developing local leaders.
The program, Leadership Dayton, cited Costie’s role as a leader at the Dayton VAMC, elsewhere in the community, and at other VAs across the nation. While presenting the award, Leadership of Dayton stated:
“Glenn Costie, a 2013 Leadership Dayton Graduate, has been selected as the Leadership Dayton’s Leader of the Year. In addition to his day job providing care to over 38,000 of the region’s veterans and their families, he also serves on the Boards of Habitat for Humanity, GDAHA and DayAir Credit Union. Glenn is not only a leader in Dayton, but is recognized through the veteran’s administration as a leader. Glenn went to Phoenix VA to help put them on the right track and he is currently at the Cincinnati VA, helping to restore top notch service to their veterans. As a community we are glad to see our local VA superstar helping to improve other communities, however, we make sure that he always remembers where is home is and comes back to serve Dayton’s veterans.
Thank you to Glenn Costie, for all you have done to help advance our community.”
