The Dayton VA Medical Center Police Service is delivering toys and giftcards to two local families for the holidays. For the past month, the Police Service has been selling raffle tickets for a XBOX One game system in order to raise the money. The giftcards the families will receive can go towards groceries, presents, to pay bills, or for whatever they deem necessary.

Each child from the two families will receive a toy that will be provided by the men and women of Miami Valley Federal Lodge #172, the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge with the Dayton VA Police. The Dayton VA Police have this raffle every year to give back to the community in which they reside. The toys and giftcards will be presented at the Miami Valley Child Care Center located on the Dayton VAMC campus on Thursday, December 19th at 2:30 PM.

In addition, each of the 135 children at the Miami Valley Child Care Center will be receiving a toy from the Police Service at 12:00 PM this day as well.
