Vocational Rehabilitation Programs & Services, Compensated Work Therapy, Incentive Therapy, work skills interest and ability testing, vocational evaluation and counseling, Graduate Education Development (GED) preparation, work placement referral, job readiness classes, resource room and a Computer Lab.
The mission of Veterans Industries is to provide Veterans opportunities to develop and/or improve prevocational and vocational skills. The improvement of these skills, through real work situations, increases the Veteran’s capacity to function in a vocational environment.
Veterans Industries/Compensated Work Therapy Program (VI/CWT) provides a structured environment where clients participate in vocational rehabilitation activities at least 30 hours per week. Clients for this program must have a primary psychiatric or medical diagnosis, be medically stable, and have a goal of competitive employment.
In accordance with Dayton VA Medical Center policy, this program endeavors to provide timely, coordinated and integrated case management service to Veterans. No person shall be excluded from the VI/CWT program because of race, ethnic origin, national origin, religion, age, disability (physical or mental), sex or sexual orientation.
